The Lamett ship is cruising at cruising speed. The flooring manufacturer and distributor's plans were grand, but it looks like execution is nicely on track.
Since the beginning of this month, a Commercial Director has been appointed for the Netherlands. Berry Veldmans takes on this challenging role. Berry is no stranger to the flooring business. With more than 12 years of experience at Quick-Step, he knows the flooring market in the Netherlands like the back of his hand.
The plans at Lamett are clear: they want to boost sales in the Netherlands and significantly expand their dealer network; both for their parquet flooring and their PVC flooring brand Parquetvinyl.
"This challenge comes at a very good time in my career. The combination of my years of experience and a strong brand with a lot of growth potential give me tons of energy to get started in the Netherlands with a solid plan!", says Berry Veldmans.
The sales team is not only expanding in the Netherlands, the Lamett story is also catching on in Poland and France and new people were recently recruited. There are still open vacancies for several countries, mainly for sales profiles.
