The core of Wood & Stone is a water-resistant and ultra-strong SPC made from a blend of 70% limestone and 30% PVC. The 1mm thick oak top layer is finished with a matte varnish, making it water-resistant for 24 hours. While solid or engineered hardwood is less suitable for a damp space like a bathroom, Wood & Stone offers a perfect alternative.
Some manufacturers manage to incorporate a veneer top layer with few to no knots. These characteristics are technically challenging. Lamett is one of the first in Europe to succeed in this. The patented top layer of Wood & Stone is full of character: knots and natural cracks are left open, creating a sublime effect.
Wood & Stone is a perfect marriage between a high-tech product and a product straight from nature. This offers many advantages. The 7mm-thick plank is ideal for renovations where a limited floor build-up is often possible. The reliable and strong Drop-Lock click system ensures easy installation. Even though Wood & Stone is installed as a floating floor, it reduces sound transmission by 20 dB. Strong, impact-resistant, compatible with underfloor heating, easy to maintain, and yet with the appearance of real wood, where every plank is unique.
