Is any type of underfloor heating suitable for parquet?

Applicable for

  • Parquet

No! The surface temperature must not exceed 28°C and must not be heated or cooled too abruptly. For that reason is an installation on electric underfloor heating or infrared underfloor heating usually not suitable. Exceptions may be permitted under certain conditions.

Our floors are suitable for installation on reversible underfloor heating and cooling, provided that the surface temperature does not fall below 18°C and the difference with the room temperature does not exceed 5°C.

Water-controlled underfloor heating is the most suitable. The recommended maximum temperature for the floor surface is 28°C. The heating pipes should be covered by at least 30 mm of cement subfloor.
